von Ottos Pfalz Landseer breeder in Magdeburg · Germany

Von Ottos Pfalz is a Landseer kennel in Magdeburg, the city known as the “Ottostadt”. The kennel name refers to Emperor Otto the Great as well as to Otto von Guericke, who worked in Magdeburg and is associated with the study of the vacuum. At the heart of the breeding program is the female dog Dona. She is firmly part of everyday family life and lives together with the family in the house. Thus, the kennel describes an environment in which the Landseer is not kept separately from daily life together. The enthusiasm for the breed shapes the image of von Ottos Pfalz. As a Landseer kennel in Magdeburg, the establishment is affiliated with the Verein von Landseerfreunden und -züchtern in Deutschland e.V. and is dedicated to this large-sized dog breed with particular devotion.
