von Karoo

Von Karoo is a Jack Russell Terrier kennel in Oberrieden in the Unterallgäu district, around 80 kilometers west of Munich. The focus is on breeding healthy, friendly, intelligent and even-tempered Terriers. The dogs live in the household and take part in everyday life; keeping them in kennels is fundamentally rejected by the kennel. At most one litter per year is planned, so that there is sufficient space for the kennel’s own dogs outside the puppy period. The puppies are dewormed several times, vaccinated once and handed over with a microchip. Von Karoo is affiliated with the Klub für Terrier von 1894 e.V. and places great value on careful rearing. Even after the puppies leave, the kennel wishes to remain in contact with the new families and follow their development. Another focus is dog sports, particularly obedience. Von Karoo trains in this discipline with great enthusiasm and passes on its existing knowledge to interested dog owners through a dog club.
