von der Springerbande

The von der Springerbande breeding programme is dedicated to Welsh Springer Spaniels and is based in the Vogelsberg district of Hesse, in the Alsfeld area. As a family-run breeding programme, it places importance on close everyday contact with the dogs as well as on loving and knowledgeable rearing. It belongs to the Spaniel-Club Deutschland e.V. and is described as VDH-controlled. The focus is on even-tempered, friendly and healthy family dogs. Breeding for hunting performance is not pursued. The puppies grow up within the family and receive age-appropriate imprinting as well as careful socialisation. Dogs used for breeding undergo health examinations in accordance with the requirements of the VDH and the club. Before being handed over, the puppies are microchipped, vaccinated and dewormed several times; they move to their new families with their papers. The breeding programme provides information on its homepage about planned and current litters. Even after the move, it supports the families and their dogs over the long term.
