von der Rodenbacher Höhe Border Collie breeder in Altenstadt · Germany

The Border Collie breeding program von der Rodenbacher Höhe focuses on dogs that feel comfortable in family life, are eager to learn, and display a balanced temperament. The focus is on a Border Collie that suits active, energetic people and can be handled responsibly. The emphasis is not on one-sided promotion of herding instinct or sporting performance. Rather, the breed should also be suitable for people who are not looking for a purely working or sporting dog, but for a versatile companion who enjoys shared activities. The females are bred at intervals of at least two years. In this way, the breeding program takes into account that, outside of raising puppies, they need time for their own lives and development. Membership in the Club für Britische Hütehunde e.V. complements this approach.
