The von der Pfötchenoase kennel in Lüneburg places great importance on careful, family-oriented puppy rearing. The young dogs live in the middle of everyday family life in the living room and can also retreat to their own puppy room to rest undisturbed. In the adjoining small dog boarding facility, they encounter various dog breeds and changing canine companions from an early age. Close contact with people also shapes their development. As they grow older, the puppies become familiar with the garden, car journeys and short outings, such as going shopping. Before being handed over, the puppies are regularly dewormed, examined by a veterinarian and vaccinated for the first time. A microchip and an EU pet passport with the chip number are also included in the handover. A pedigree or papers are applied for at the studbook office and, once issued, usually four to six weeks after the examination, passed on to the new owners.
