The hobby cattery von der Katzenelfe has been devoted to breeding Selkirk Rex cats in Elmenhorst with great care since August 2009. The focus is on loving care and a high level of commitment to the cats and their offspring. The cats have the use of the entire house, which covers around 140 square meters. During the summer months, the youngest animals can also use an outdoor enclosure. The breeding cats enjoy going outside; the Rhodesian Ridgeback female dog living in the household also attentively accompanies the kittens as they grow up. In addition to cat breeding, pastel painting is one of the breeder’s activities. The sale of the young cats helps to continue this creative interest. Von der Katzenelfe thus combines Selkirk Rex breeding with a family environment in which the animals have plenty of space in the house and access to secure outdoor areas.
