The von der Jurenka Ranch emerged from a long-standing bond with dogs. It began with a Great Dane, and later Jack Russell Terriers were added. During a trail ride, the first Australian Shepherd followed in 2009 and shaped the ranch. The von der Jurenka Ranch particularly values intelligence, variety of colors and closeness to people in Australian Shepherds. It describes them as attentive, expressive companions who take part in everyday life and switch between calm and rapid activity. In the growing pack, each dog’s individual character is at the center. Living together with large and small dogs is also part of its history. Cheerful, spirited small dogs expanded the diverse pack. Today, von der Jurenka Ranch is dedicated to breeding Blue Bay Shepherds, with dogs shaping daily life.
