The dog breeder von-der-Elbtalaue in Alt Garge reported a purebred litter born on 5 August 2013. It consisted of one Blenheim male, two tricolour males and two Blenheim females. The mother was described as tricolour, and the father as Blenheim. For handover from mid-October, the puppies were to have been dewormed several times, vaccinated and microchipped, and were to receive an EU pet passport. In addition, a puppy package with the familiar food was planned to make the transition to their new home easier. The young animals grew up in the house and as part of family life. Alongside their parents, an aunt and grandmother also lived in the household. This allowed the puppies to become familiar with everyday sounds, other animals, children and car journeys. Visits were possible from around the fourth week of life; holiday care was also offered later.
