von der Bärenmulde

The von der Bärenmulde kennel breeds Yakutian Laikas in Aßlar and belongs to the Laika-Club e.V. Its name refers to a tradition from Bermoll, whose medieval designation is said to have meant “Bärenmulde”. The breeding program was established after more than 20 years of experience in handling Laikas. The dogs have lived together for several years and are trained and handled in tests. The focus is on handler-oriented hunting work: Every year, the kennel takes part with them in at least 20 driven hunts, including in dense undergrowth and hedges. In addition, they are family dogs and travel companions. The home is prepared for the first litter. For the puppies, the kennel is looking for loving, active and, if possible, hunting-oriented homes where they will find activity and a bond over many years.
