The hobby breeding program von der Bad Münstereifeler Höhe is dedicated to Dalmatians in the Euskirchen region at the foot of the Vulkaneifel. The aim is to produce healthy, even-tempered and appealing dogs that are particularly well suited to family life. The breeding program follows the guidelines of the VDH and FCI and is affiliated with the Club für Dalmatiner-Freunde e.V. The bitches live in the house as permanent family members; permanent accommodation in a kennel is ruled out. The puppies are born in the house and, after a few weeks, move to a specially equipped puppy house with a large exercise area and play area. There and in the house, they become familiar with various impressions and everyday noises in an age-appropriate manner. During the first eight weeks, the puppies receive close supervision and careful socialisation. They receive VDH/CDF papers, have their hearing examined by AEP, are microchipped, vaccinated five times and dewormed several times. The breeding facility places importance on getting to know prospective owners personally beforehand and on carefully selecting future families; suitable dogs may also be shown at exhibitions.
