The von der Amtsschlade breeding establishment is located in Balve in the Sauerland and has been dedicated to the hobby breeding of Standard Smooth-Haired and Standard Wire-Haired Dachshunds since 2005. As a small, deliberately manageable breeding establishment, it places importance on giving each individual dog sufficient attention. The Dachshunds live together with the breeder in the house and have access to a spacious, well-secured garden. Keeping them in kennels is not an option for the breeding establishment; instead, the dogs are intended to grow up in a family environment and feel comfortable there. Even after the puppies have been placed, the breeding establishment remains interested in their further development. Contact with many puppy families continues and underscores the personal approach of this part-time breeding establishment, for which plenty of time is deliberately set aside alongside work as a nurse.
