von der Ahne Newfoundland breeder in Dorsten · Germany

The von der Ahne dog breeding kennel is based in Dorsten-Lembeck and is dedicated to the Newfoundland. The kennel belongs to the Deutscher Neufundländer-Klub e.V. Its current location is in the urban area of Dorsten, after the kennel was previously based in Wolfhagen in Hesse. Since 1980, the von der Ahne kennel has been involved with brown and black Newfoundlands. This long-standing involvement with the large dogs shapes the background of the kennel, which was continued after the move from Hesse to Dorsten-Lembeck. In its orientation, the von der Ahne kennel prefers the European-continental type. The combination of many years of breeding experience and this clear typological orientation characterizes the work of the kennel in Dorsten-Lembeck.
