Von den Sprützmoor Spatzen is a dog breeder in Hamburg, operated for Blue Bay Shepherd. The present description introduces the breeding as a hobby breeding program and also reports on a second litter of Australian Shepherds with four puppies in different coat colors and sexes. For raising the puppies, emphasis is placed on varied early habituation. The puppies are to become familiar with typical everyday sounds, such as household noises. They are also offered different surfaces such as tiles, grass and sand, as well as play opportunities and various stimuli. The puppies’ equipment includes, among other things, a wobble board, a ball pit, a water bath, a tunnel and stuffed animals. Before they are handed over, deworming, vaccination, identification by microchip, and examinations by an ophthalmologist and veterinarian are planned. For the litter mentioned, papers from ASCA and ASHZG are announced.
