The “von den Nornen” Hovawart kennel is run by Martina on a small farm in Schleswig-Holstein and has been in existence since 2003. It is affiliated with the Hovawart-Zuchtverband Deutschland (HZD), as well as the VDH and the FCI. In addition to the dogs, chickens, ducks, geese, and horses also live on the farm, so the dogs grow up as part of everyday rural family life. The breeder views breeding as a secondary occupation; the female dogs are primarily family pets. The breeding dogs include: – Stella: blonde female – Tussnelda: black female – Uwe: blonde male, approved for breeding The farm also includes a dog school and a dog boarding facility.
