The family kennel von den Höhenäckern in Pforzheim has been dedicated to the Pepper and Salt Giant Schnauzer since around 1990. After a brief interruption, the breeding program has been continued by the younger generation since 2013. The kennel name enjoys national and international protection. The dogs are integrated into family life and live in the house. The puppies also grow up there: During the first three to four weeks, they use a puppy room in the residential house. Afterwards, a spacious heated puppy room with an exercise area in the specially created puppy garden is available. The puppies are raised in accordance with the regulations of the VDH and PSK; valid pedigrees are issued for the puppies. The breeding program is currently accompanying its N-litter, the third litter of one of its bitches. Family care and a carefully designed early development characterize the work of the breeding program.
