von den grossen Strolchen Hungarian Kuvasz breeder in Lienen · Germany

The Kuvasz kennel von den großen Strolchen in Lienen is dedicated to the Hungarian Kuvasz. Enthusiasm for dogs arose at an early age, but it was only with the first home of their own that the right setting for a dog became available. After thorough consideration of various breeds, the choice fell on the Kuvasz. The deciding factor was the first personal encounter with this imposing herding breed at a show. The impressions gained there confirmed the previously acquired knowledge of the Kuvasz’s character and appearance. In 1975, the first representative of the breed moved in; shortly afterwards, a female was added, laying the foundation for the breeding program. The kennel name von den großen Strolchen received national protection in 1977 and international protection in 1992. The first litter was born as early as 1978. Thus, the breeding program looks back on a long history with the Hungarian Kuvasz and is registered with Kuvasz Freunde e.V.
