The Cattery von Dellnau in Dessau is dedicated to the German Longhair cat, a rare and particularly appealing breed. As a still young cattery, it participates in conservation breeding and thus works to ensure the continued existence of this cat. Since the summer of 2009, breeding German Longhair cats has been the cattery’s main focus. The first litter, the A-litter, was born on 7 May 2010 and marks an important step in the development of the cattery. Von Dellnau is a member of 1. Felidae Cat Club e.V. The cattery places its work at the service of a breed whose rarity and charisma it particularly appreciates, and focuses on continuing German Longhair breeding in Dessau.
