vom Werwolfstein

The vom Werwolfstein kennel breeds Schipperke in Burg. The path there is shaped by a long-standing connection with dogs that began in the family environment. The desire for a dog of their own led to an interest in training, dog sports and finally the establishment of their own breeding program. A Dutch Shepherd shaped the first sporting experiences. Training in protection dog sports was demanding and conveyed important insights into working with dogs. This hobby has been pursued together for almost two decades; several dogs accompanied the kennel’s journey. Professional knowledge complements practical experience. This includes a DVG certificate of competence for working dog sports enthusiasts as well as work as a performance judge in the DVG. A permit under § 11 of the Animal Welfare Act covers breeding, animal keeping and animal-assisted intervention; a transport permit is also available.
