Vom Ruthenbach breeds Labrador Retrievers from working lines in Rheda-Wiedenbrück. The kennel belongs to the Deutscher Retriever Club e. V. and follows its binding breeding guidelines. The focus is on a responsible selection of breeding dogs within the recognised framework. The aim is to breed Labrador Retrievers that are healthy, even-tempered and endowed with a pronounced joy of work. The breeding programme follows the FCI breed standard. Vom Ruthenbach prefers a Labrador of medium-heavy type and places importance on a harmonious overall appearance of the dogs. In addition to health requirements, the breed-typical temperament is highly valued. The Labrador Retriever’s natural working abilities are also to be preserved and encouraged. In this way, the kennel combines the qualities of a reliable retriever with the goals of performance-oriented Labrador breeding.
