vom Rabental German Shepherd Dog breeder in Erfurt · Germany

Vom Rabental in Erfurt is dedicated to breeding healthy, athletically inclined Old German Shepherd Dogs with long stock hair. The kennel is located in Thuringia, the green heart of Germany. The focus is on the goal of breeding capable dogs that are also suitable as well-balanced family companions. The kennel’s dogs live closely integrated into family life and are trained in dog sports. Their sporting guidance shapes the direction of the breeding program. The family’s first Shepherd Dogs, which moved in in 2002 and 2010, were already able to successfully pass IGP 3 level trials several times; notable results were also achieved in agility. Since 2020, vom Rabental has continued the traditional kennel name. Earlier breeding under this name had stood for healthy and high-performing German Shepherd Dogs since 1970. Vom Rabental builds on this heritage and is affiliated with the Verein für Deutsche Schäferhunde (SV) e.V.
