Zwinger vom Obborn

The kennel vom Obborn is a Schnauzer breeding establishment in Hungen, whose history began in 1971. Following a breeding partnership managed from 2005, responsibility was fully transferred in 2022. To date, 86 litters have been raised under this name. The breeding programme included Pepper and Salt Schnauzers, Black and Black and Silver Miniature Schnauzers, as well as black Standard and Giant Schnauzers. Pepper and Salt Schnauzers continue to be a particular focus. Health, sound temperament and the breed standard determine the selection of parent dogs and every mating. The breeding establishment has been organised in the Pinscher-Schnauzer-Klub e.V. since 1970. Annual breeder seminars serve to further professional training. Before being used for breeding, bitches are assessed by several judges, examined in a breeding aptitude test, and tested for hip dysplasia and eye conditions.
