The hobby breeding program vom Möhnesee is dedicated to Golden Retrievers in the Sauerland, directly near Lake Möhnesee. The focus is on raising puppies that can develop into well-balanced family dogs. The breeding takes place in a home environment with access to the garden. The young dogs grow up in the house and garden and have close contact with people from the very beginning. Living together with other dogs and cats is also part of their early experiences. In this way, they are socialized and prepared for their later everyday life as family dogs. The puppies are scheduled to be handed over at the age of eight weeks. According to the breeder, by then they have been dewormed several times and vaccinated five times. In addition, the puppies receive documents from the IRJGV.
