Vom Hunderath is a dog breeding kennel in Hillerød with a focus on the Belgian Shepherd Dog, Tervuren. The kennel’s history goes back to 2003, and up until 2019 six litters had been born. Most were Tervuren litters, while a single litter in 2016 consisted of Volpino Italiano.
The dogs live in a house with a garden and have the forest close by. They naturally take part in the breeder’s everyday life, go along to many different places and usually also take part in trips. This close bond reflects a way of keeping dogs where shared experiences and activity take up a lot of space.
Agility is the primary dog sport at Vom Hunderath and is practised at competition level. The kennel also has experience with teaching the discipline. Everyday life also includes activities such as obedience, rally, frisbee, tricks and flyball, which gives the dogs the opportunity to work with different forms of exercise and training.
