Vom Holzmicheltal is dedicated to breeding Belgian Shepherd Dogs of the Malinois variety. The preservation of this breed’s original type is the central focus. The breeding program follows the regulations of the VDH and FCI and aims to produce healthy, self-confident and resilient dogs with pronounced drive and an appealing appearance. For breeding planning, older bloodlines are also taken into consideration. The aim is to preserve the breed-typical character of the Malinois and continue developing it in a targeted manner. Particular attention is paid to qualities that distinguish a versatile and mentally stable dog, as well as to the careful selection of the animals intended for mating. The parent animals should have a very good to excellent conformation rating. Vom Holzmicheltal is affiliated with the Verein Belgische Schäferhunde Deutschland e.V. and combines adherence to recognized breeding guidelines with the aim of preserving the Malinois in its original form.
