vom Hohen Feld

The vom Hohen Feld kennel in Bremen is dedicated to the Old German Shepherd Dog. Its activities began in 2008 after the kennel name was confirmed by the parent club. Membership in the Lesummünde local chapter of the German Shepherd Dog Club has also existed since 2001. It is affiliated with the Verein für Deutsche Schäferhunde (SV) e.V. In breeding, the focus is on dogs whose overall anatomical structure comes close to the guidelines. Particular importance is likewise placed on pronounced working drives. Thus, vom Hohen Feld combines physical characteristics with qualities that can also be demonstrated in work. The starting point was the wish for offspring from a valued male. A female from this offspring remained in the breeding program and achieved good placements at conformation shows. She is also distinguished by her enthusiasm for work in obedience, tracking and protection work.
