vom hohen Asgard

Vom hohen Asgard is a small hobby breeding program for Belgian Shepherd Dogs of the Tervueren variety in Barsbüttel in northern Germany. The dogs are not kept in a kennel facility: The litters are born in the house and grow up there in close contact with everyday life. A large garden is available for the young dogs to play and explore. Walks and car rides complement their first experiences outside the house. During imprinting and training, not only the mother dog accompanies the puppies, but also other dogs from the family, including an aunt, uncle and great-grandmother. The breeding program is registered as a breeder with the VDH and DKBS. The puppies are handed over in their tenth week of life; by then, they have been vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped. Vom hohen Asgard thus places value on home rearing and on preparing the Tervueren puppies for their future everyday lives.
