vom Hof Mühlbach

Vom Hof Mühlbach breeds Flat-Coated Retrievers on a secluded mountain farm in the Wittgenstein region. The dogs live there with the family and numerous other two- and four-legged animals. The breeding program is affiliated with the Verband für das Deutsche Hundewesen (VDH) e.V. and combines a rural setting with close family integration. The way the dogs are kept depends on their individual nature. While some animals live on the farm as guards and herders, others are kept occupied through hunting work, search-and-rescue dog work, and dummy training. Farm life also includes, among others, cows, ponies, horses, geese, ducks, chickens, and cats, which help shape the dogs’ everyday lives. In addition to Flat-Coated Retrievers, Silken Windsprites are also bred; Kangal litters occur only very rarely and are not currently planned. A litter of Flat-Coated Retrievers is planned for 2026. Placement is not intended solely for keeping them as family dogs. A first litter of Silken Windsprites is also being planned.
