Vom Fürstenwall runs a small, dedicated hobby breeding program for Irish Terriers in Magdeburg. The dogs are part of everyday family life and live in the house; keeping them in kennels is not an option for the breeding establishment. The breeding program is affiliated with the Irish Wolfhound Club e.V. When selecting pairings, health aspects, the longest possible lifespan and a balanced temperament are the main focus. The puppies are born in the house and raised there. During their early development, they gain experience with the sounds of everyday life, cats and car rides. Before leaving, the young dogs are dewormed repeatedly, vaccinated according to their age and examined by a veterinarian. In addition, an assessment is carried out by the breeding supervisor, as well as acceptance, provided that all requirements are met. Vom Fürstenwall would like to accompany the dogs on their onward journey and remains available to the new families if they have questions or encounter difficulties.
