Vom Frielicker Holz is a family-run breeding establishment in Hamm that occasionally places puppies. The focus is on closely integrating the dogs into everyday life: The puppies are born in the house and spend their first time in the immediate vicinity of the family. As a result, they experience plenty of human contact from an early age and receive attentive care when needed. The breeding of Bernese Mountain Dogs follows the FCI standard. Keeping dogs in kennels is expressly rejected; a home that meets this standard is sought for the puppies. The welfare of the animals and caring rearing form the basis of the breeder’s work. The breeding dogs used are HD-free and have been examined for liver and kidney damage. Mating takes place exclusively with HD-free animals. Inbreeding and linebreeding are avoided. The dogs are described as healthy and have also achieved successes at shows.
