vom Eckental Labrador Retriever breeder in Betzenstein · Germany

The Labrador Retriever kennel vom Eckental is based in Betzenstein and has been breeding since 2010 under an FCI-protected kennel name. It belongs to the Labrador Club Deutschland e.V. and follows the FCI standard of the breed. The focus is on the medium-sized Labrador with a distinctive head in Black or Chocolate. The breeding bitches come from multiple award-winning show lines from Scandinavia and the USA. When selecting pairings, the kennel places importance on careful planning and avoiding known hereditary diseases. Health, appearance, intelligence, willingness to work, as well as a balanced and friendly temperament are key breeding goals. The puppies grow up in the house and garden with close family contact and together with dogs and cats. They are socialized before being handed over to their new families and receive deworming treatments, vaccinations, a microchip, and veterinary check-ups beforehand. When they leave from the eighth week onward, they are accompanied by an EU pet passport and an LCD/VDH pedigree; contact remains important afterwards as well.
