The small hobby cattery vom Düsterwald in Owen is dedicated to the Birman. Born from an enthusiasm for this cat breed, the cattery raises its cats right in the midst of everyday family life. The cats can use all living areas and grow up in close contact with people. A particular breeding focus is the further development of the still rather rare colours Cream, Red, Lilac and Blue, as well as their Tortie and Tabby variants. Among other things, colour intensity and eye colour are central considerations. The cattery also wants to make these colour variants better known at shows. The kittens are socialised within the family and are accustomed to children and unfamiliar people. When they leave, they are at least 14 weeks old, neutered, vaccinated several times and dewormed. They receive three health certificates, a pedigree, a vaccination record and a legally binding purchase contract. An EU pet passport and microchip are also available on request.
