The vom Donnersberger Land kennel in Winnweiler is dedicated to breeding Old German Shepherd Dogs. The connection to Shepherd Dogs began in 1997 with the first White Swiss Shepherd Dog. In 2010, the long-held wish for a breeding program of their own was fulfilled. Since then, the kennel has understood its task to be further developing the breed according to its ideas. The focus is on healthy dogs with a well-established, friendly temperament that can bring their families much joy. Shepherd Dogs are valued here as versatile companions: as family dogs, attentive guardians and eager-to-learn working dogs. Their closeness to children and their adaptability are particularly emphasized. The puppies grow up in a family environment together with the pack. The house and garden are part of their everyday life and provide them with space for exercise and play. From an early age, they become familiar with various everyday sounds so that they can gradually get used to different impressions.
