Vindhauses

Vindhauses in Juelsminde has worked with Italian Greyhounds since 1971. The kennel’s first dog became the foundation of the breeding programme, and in January 1973 the first litter of five puppies was born. Experience has subsequently been expanded through shows, professional literature and contact with other breeders. The breeding programme is based on carefully selected lines, including Sobers lines, later supplemented with bloodlines from Il Piccolo Azzuro and Il Cagnolino. The aim is to combine breed type, elegance and health in strong and harmonious Italian Greyhounds. The education as a DKK breeder forms part of the kennel’s professional foundation. Dogs from Vindhauses are found not only in Denmark, but also in, among others, Norway, Finland, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Poland, Switzerland and Hong Kong. The breeding programme has achieved many placements at shows, several winner titles and more than 100 championships.
