Van de Berner Vallei is Janette's kennel in Raalte, in the Salland region. She breeds Bernese Mountain Dogs; the first litter was born in 2007. Janette is a member of the NBSV (Dutch Bernese Mountain Dog Association). The dogs are her children: they live in the house and are a full part of the family. The dogs are assessed for an open, friendly, sociable and self-confident character. The dogs are examined for, among other things, HD, ED, OCD, DM and liver shunt. Visitors are welcome: those interested are welcome to call to get acquainted. The website has pages about the dogs themselves, the puppies, news, memories and a photo album.
