Tuuliaisen kennel Schiller Hound breeder in Oulu · Finland

Tuuliaisen kennel is a small-scale dog breeder operating in Oulu. In the directory information, its breed is listed as Schillerstövare, while the breeder’s own presentation describes the breeding of German Shorthaired Pointers. The scale of the operation is deliberately kept limited. When selecting breeding dogs, the kennel emphasizes health and evidence of the dogs’ qualities. According to the presentation, only dogs that are healthy and have won awards both in trials and at shows are used for breeding. Thus, breeding selections are based on documented health information and merits demonstrated in practice. The kennel supports puppy owners by organizing training for them and offering assistance at different stages of the dog’s growth. The aim is to promote the puppy’s development into a hunting companion that pleases its owner. Guidance and communication are therefore also part of the breeding work after the puppy has been handed over.
