Mainemarie | Mariya Podoinikova Maine Coon breeder in Campobasso · Italy

The Mainemarie cattery, active since 2011 in Campobasso, is dedicated exclusively to the Maine Coon. The selection includes cats that tested negative for HCM, SMA and PKD, with particular attention to the health status of the breeding cats. Males and females are vaccinated and undergo checks for known genetic mutations. The cattery also carries out regular checks on the hearts and kidneys of its cats and makes the results of the examinations available to kitten buyers. The hygienic conditions of the environments housing adults and kittens are an important aspect of management. In collaboration with specialists, the cattery continues to deepen its knowledge of feline anatomy, physiology, psychology and genotype.
