The Spirit of Spring

The Spirit of Spring breeds Bearded Collies in Emden with the aim of producing healthy, cheerful and even-tempered dogs. The focus is on growing up in a manner suited to dogs: The future companions are intended to remain closely connected to their families for a long time while preserving their natural needs as dogs. The puppies are born in the living area and spend their first time there. As their desire to explore increases, they have their own dog room available for resting, playing and romping; the garden is also used. Different surfaces such as carpet, stones, grass and bark mulch are part of their early experiences. For varied socialisation, the young Bearded Collies experience everyday sounds and situations around the house and garden, while the radio can also be heard during the day. Close integration into family life and contact with children encourage a familiar, positive relationship with people.
