TeddyGems British Shorthairs

TeddyGems British Shorthairs is a small British Shorthair cattery in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. The breeding programme centres on the breed’s teddy-bear look, gentle character and sociable nature. Its cats are cherished household members, and health, temperament and breed type shape the cattery’s approach. Kittens are raised indoors in a home environment, with handling, enrichment and everyday household activity. This early experience is designed to support their development as confident, contented companions. TeddyGems places them as indoor pets in caring, committed homes suited to the needs of the breed. Before leaving, kittens have veterinary health checks, vaccinations and microchips, together with appropriate flea and worm treatment, and are neutered. They go to their new families with GCCF/TICA registration, familiar food and litter, and a kitten pack. The cattery also provides ongoing settling-in guidance and support.
