Tarrawangas

Tarrawangas is a small kennel in Harlev that breeds Australian Kelpie and has about one litter a year. The puppies grow up inside the house in a room with an open connection to the living room. Here they get contact with different people and are stimulated through toys and varied, developmental activities. The goal is fresh, happy and healthy sport dogs with a good temperament, social nature, drive and desire for training. Bitches and males are selected with a focus on these qualities. Dogs from previous litters participate, among other things, in obedience, tracking, search, agility, rally and herding training. The Kelpie is quick to learn, playful and cooperative and at the same time needs running, mental stimulation and companionship. Tarrawangas is based on experience with dog training since the end of the 1970s and with Kelpie since 2006. The kennel completed DKK's breeder education and was approved in 2009.
