The Sylvianne’s ... Whippet kennel has existed since 2002 and is located in Wardenburg, in a green setting not far from Oldenburg. Whippets of various age groups live there together with the kennel – from young dogs to elderly animals. The kennel is affiliated with the Deutscher Windhundzucht- und Rennverband e.V. (DWZRV). At the centre is an elegant Whippet oriented towards the English type and bringing both enthusiasm for performance and sporting ability. The pairings are carefully selected for breeding. The kennel plans one to three litters annually and places importance on the responsible development of the dogs. The puppies grow up with a wide range of impressions. Imprinting, socialisation, habituation to everyday situations and learning processes are part of the rearing concept, so that the young Whippets can move well prepared into their new homes. Even after they leave, the kennel supports the new families with advice and values ongoing communication.
