Swiftwit Golden Retriever breeder in Weigelsdorf · Austria

Swiftwit is an officially approved breeding facility for American Golden Retrievers in Weigelsdorf, Austria. The breeding program has existed since 2005 and is a member of the Austrian Retriever Club (ÖRC) and the Austrian Kennel Club (ÖKV); it bears the latter’s “Exemplary Breeding Facility” seal and is voluntarily inspected annually. The goal is healthy, even-tempered, standard-compliant and eager-to-work dogs: The breeding animals undergo temperament tests, hip/elbow dysplasia examinations, eye examinations for hereditary diseases, as well as genetic tests. The puppies are born in the breeder’s living room and grow up there during their first weeks, after which they move into their own puppy room. They become familiar with everyday sounds and family life and explore the garden from the fourth week onward. At eight to nine weeks, the puppies move into their new homes dewormed, vaccinated and microchipped. The breeder gets to know all prospective owners personally in advance.
