Strongbow's has been breeding exclusively Irish Wheaten Terriers in Nottuln since 1997. The dogs live in the house as permanent members of the household and accompany the daily life of the breeding establishment. They are not kept solely as breeding or show dogs; bitches that no longer have litters also remain with Strongbow's. The puppies also grow up in the house and can use the garden. This allows them to become familiar with the home environment and life outdoors from an early age. Before leaving for their new homes, they undertake their first explorations outside the familiar home and gather impressions of the surrounding area. When they are handed over, the puppies have been dewormed several times, vaccinated and microchipped. Strongbow's is affiliated with the Klub für Terrier von 1894 e.V. and places importance on raising the young dogs as part of everyday family life.
