Spidsbjørnens Norrbottenspets breeder in Ebeltoft · Denmark

Spidsbjørnens is a dog breeding kennel in Ebeltoft focusing on Norrbottenspets and with the DKK breeder education. The kennel works with the breed as social, affectionate and friendly dogs and places emphasis on serious breeding work. The first Norrbottenspets was brought to Denmark from Norway in January 2001. Since then, the breeding stock has been supplemented with puppies from Canada, Sweden, the USA, the Netherlands, Norway and Finland. Before the imports, the parents’ lines were reviewed with regard to hereditary diseases, as far back as 1969 where possible. A litter of eight puppies, five females and three males, was born on 27 June 2023. At the time of the information, three puppies still lacked a new home, and they were planned to be ready to move on 22 August. Information about the parent dogs is included in the kennel’s presentation.
