Sparrow's Nightmare

The Maine Coon cattery Sparrow's Nightmare in Bad Münder am Deister keeps cats and tomcats in the family living environment of a large house. The animals share their everyday life with foster children and a dog. Separate housing, cages or specially furnished cat rooms are not part of the concept; the cats may use almost all living areas. The kittens are given away at the age of 14 to 16 weeks at the earliest. They receive a current health certificate with chip number, are tested for feline leukemia and FIV, fully vaccinated, early neutered and identified. If desired, an additional examination for FIP by means of a laboratory blood test can be carried out. For the move, protection contracts and copies of the health records of the parent animals are provided. The breeding cats are examined, among other things, for HCM, PKD, HD, patellar luxation, FIV and FeLV. Regular veterinary home visits accompany preventive healthcare and enable the kittens to have their first contact with veterinary care as relaxed as possible.
