Somalikatzen vom Zankelstein has been dedicated to breeding Somali cats in Happurg, a small town in Middle Franconia, since 2001. Occasionally, the cattery also places Somali and Abyssinian kittens in the colors Ruddy, Blue, Sorrel and Fawn.
The cats live in a house with a garden and have more than 150 square meters of space there. Cozy hideaways, scratching posts and varied climbing opportunities enrich their everyday lives. A secured balcony and an additional outdoor enclosure expand their living space. Freedom of movement and harmonious coexistence are the focus.
As part of health prevention, the animals are genetically tested for PRA and PK; their blood groups have also been determined and examinations for PL have been carried out. Kittens are placed exclusively with particularly responsible owners. Even after moving in, the cattery values regular communication, reports and photos and provides the new families with ongoing support for any questions.
