Skovbækgaard

Skovbækgaard is a dog breeder in Vordingborg focusing on Golden Retrievers, which are well suited to active homes and various forms of training. The breeding programme places emphasis on the breed’s willingness to work and on dogs that can engage in close cooperation with their people for many years. The goal is to breed healthy Golden Retrievers with a stable and pleasant temperament, a natural talent for work and the breed’s characteristic beautiful expression. The dogs are bred with a view to hunting, field trials, tracking, DcH and other dog sports, rather than exclusively a life as a family dog. A female is expected to be mated during the coming heat around December 2026 or January 2027. Skovbækgaard has completed DKK’s breeder education as well as a DKK masterclass, which supports the breeding programme’s professional focus on the Golden Retriever’s qualities as a training partner and loyal companion.
