Skansehøj's

Skansehøj's is a Beagle kennel in Hirtshals with experience dating back to 1983. The aim is to breed healthy, well-functioning dogs with a beautiful appearance. Work is carried out with a long-term perspective on the breed and with the desire to continuously strengthen the quality of the breeding. Normally, one to two litters are born each year. The puppies grow up as part of the home and receive extensive socialisation, so that they become familiar with various impressions from everyday life. This home-based upbringing is a central element of Skansehøj's approach to the puppies' early development. The kennel is a member of both the Danish Kennel Club and Beagle Klubben and has completed DKK's breeder education programme. Over the years, dogs from Skansehøj's have achieved championship titles in Denmark and abroad. These results are accompanied by a continued focus on developing the Beagle and maintaining the ambition of producing healthy, well-functioning and beautiful dogs.
