Shamrock Shepherds’ White Swiss Shepherd Dog breeder in Karlsfeld Germany

Shamrock Shepherds’ is a breeder based in Karlsfeld specializing in Old German Shepherd Dogs, with experience in dog sports and search-and-rescue dog work.

Shamrock Shepherds’ is a dog breeder in Karlsfeld, Bavaria, on the outskirts of Munich. The breeding programme is dedicated to the Old German Shepherd Dog and is affiliated with the Rassezuchtverein für Weisse Schweizer Schäferhunde e.V. The dogs live in a German-Irish family environment. The enthusiasm for Shepherd Dogs began in 2001 with the family’s first White Swiss Shepherd Dog. From there, the path led to dog sports and work in the IGP field, formerly known as IPO. The training made it clear how versatile and eager to work these dogs can be. Alongside sport, search and rescue dog work plays an important role in the breeder’s everyday life. Since 2016, there has been a connection with the BRH-Rettungshundestaffel Fürstenfeldbruck e.V.; since 2023, responsibility in operational command has also been undertaken there. Joint training and search operations shape the close cooperation between human and dog.
