Schutterscot’s is a small, family-run hobby breeding for Border Collies in Schutterwald. The breeding is affiliated with the Club für Britische Hütehunde e.V. and is dedicated to the breed with great devotion. Its deliberately manageable scope defines the family character of the breeding. As a rule, Schutterscot’s experiences the intensive time of a litter of puppies once a year. The young Border Collies grow up lovingly in the house and are therefore integrated into the domestic environment from the very beginning. The rearing forms the centerpiece of this annually recurring adventure. Special attention is paid to preparing the puppies as well as possible for their later life as family dogs. Schutterscot’s combines the joy of hobby breeding with a committed support of the young dogs during their first phase of life. The focus is on the domestic rearing and the future role of the Border Collies in their families.
