Schoko-Red Haus Gelstertal

The Schoko-Red Haus Gelstertal dog breeding kennel in Großalmerode focuses on Miniature Poodles in rich brown and fawn (Red). The breeding program is affiliated with the Pudel-Zucht-Verband 82 e.V. and has accompanied the breed for more than 35 years with extensive experience and dedication. At around 40 centimeters at the withers, the kennel’s own dogs conform to the Miniature Poodle standard. Health, exercise and a family-oriented environment are at the heart of the rearing program. Among other things, the breeding dogs undergo laboratory and genetic testing and are examined for patella and cataracts; regular veterinary preventive care is also part of the program. The puppies grow up with typical everyday stimuli, children, larger dogs, a tomcat and chickens, and are accustomed to car journeys from an early age. The breeding program places importance on responsible placement and emphasizes the Poodle’s intellectual needs. Prospective owners should be able to provide time, clear structures and meaningful tasks. Regular coat care is also gently introduced during puppyhood.
